Frequently asked questions

If you have more questions, feel free to reach out—I’m here to help!

What Materials Are Required for This Course?

To complete all four flowers, you'll need scraps of various knit fabrics. Look for squares around 30 cm in size. The majority of the tutorial involves hand stitching, but there are some parts that can also be done with a sewing machine.

Where Can I Buy the Materials?

I specifically sought the materials that can be purchased from the most popular UK fabric store. The full list with images and links will be included. If you are not from the UK, the list includes detailed images to help you find the proper materials.

Do I Need Prior Experience or Skills?

Although this tutorial requires experience with hand and machine stitching, I can say that if you know basic stitches (such as the backstitch), you'll manage!

How Much Time Does the Project Take?

This project is not the kind that you can complete in three hours, sorry! But if you can manage to spare a couple of hours per day, I believe that in a week you can successfully complete it!

Can I Personalize the Design?

The basic composition comprises four flowers and leaves. You can choose to make all four or only one. Arrange them as you like. You can create a flower with minor customizations or without, but please refrain from modifying the flowers as they are my original design, and I'd like to keep them as I envisioned.

What’s the Best Way to Care for My Finished Piece?

If you follow the tutorial carefully, you can even wash your embellished garment in the washing machine, using the delicate cycle.
